Customized industrial manipulators adjusted to the specifics of work and client requirements
Customized Industrial Manipulators
We offer industrial manipulators tailored to the specifics of your work processes and requirements.
At Dentec, we always focus on ergonomics and safety, which is why we are proud to announce that THEMA — a renowned European manufacturer of customized industrial manipulators — has joined our group of partners. THEMA is an Italian brand stemming from a long history and extensive expertise gained by professionals who have been working in the industrial manipulator sector for nearly 30 years. They specialize in designing and manufacturing industrial manipulators tailored to the user’s needs. Each device is adapted to the nature of the work and customer requirements — regardless of shape, weight, or the material of the transported load.
Safety, Flexibility, Design
The industrial manipulators we offer are developed based on three key values:
- Safety – each machine is designed with the operator’s health and comfort in mind. Proper construction, balance, and safety systems minimize the risk of injuries and strain, allowing you to work effortlessly while maintaining full control.
- Flexibility – we do not believe in universal solutions. Every project is adapted to a specific location, process, and load. The manipulators we propose fit perfectly into the existing space and address real production needs.
- Thoughtful Design – functionality and durability go hand in hand with attention to detail. The devices we provide feature a solid construction, appealing aesthetics, and ergonomic design, ensuring reliable operation every day.
The manipulator creation process involves several key stages:
1. On-Site Inspection
The process begins with customer contact and, if necessary, a visit to the installation site. The goal is to analyze the manipulator’s working conditions and determine the best solution.
2. Design
In our technical office, the manipulator layout is created along with 3D simulations. At this stage, both the type of machine and the appropriate gripping tool for the load are defined.
3. Production
After consulting with the client and selecting a solution, the manipulator’s construction begins. Each component is manufactured precisely by experienced specialists according to a defined production process.
4. Pre-Assembly
Before the final assembly, the machine is put together at the so-called “zero station,” which allows for checking the compatibility of all parts with ISO quality standards and verifying the accuracy of workmanship.
5. Painting
After initial mechanical testing, the machine is prepared for painting. Details of the finish and color compliance are verified according to the order requirements.
6. Pneumatic Installation
After painting, the manipulator goes to a specialized department where the pneumatic system is installed. All connections are made according to the order specifications.
7. Inspection and Testing
The final stage is a comprehensive inspection of the device. The performance of all components and the pneumatic system’s functionality are checked to ensure full compliance with quality standards.
Thanks to this approach, the client receives not only a device but a fully tailored solution that improves work ergonomics, reduces the risk of injuries, and increases production efficiency.
The industrial manipulators we offer are used in many sectors, including:
- Industrial sector
- Chemical industry
- Food industry
- Pharmaceutical industry
- Petrochemical industry
- Automotive industry
All THEMA manipulators are manually operated devices that assist in lifting and moving loads in almost any direction within the working area. They do not include automation systems. They can be powered pneumatically, which has many advantages, such as no electrical cables, safety in explosive environments (ATEX), and straightforward operation and maintenance.
Manipulator mounting options
Our manipulators are designed to adapt to any workspace, providing maximum comfort and work ergonomics. Various mounting options are available:
- Column mounting – a stable floor attachment, ideal for stationary workstations.
- Overhead mounting – saves space and provides full freedom of movement.
- Overhead trolley mounting – mobility along a designated path, optimal for larger production areas.
Gripping tools designed with your products in mind
At Dentec, we know that the effectiveness of an industrial manipulator largely depends on selecting the proper gripping tool. Therefore, in each project, we pay special attention to the specifics of the product and working conditions, ensuring the final solution is optimally adjusted to the user’s needs. Depending on the load type and process, various technologies can be applied. These include standard hooks, which are great for simple, repetitive tasks, as well as custom-formed versions designed for non-standard shapes. Where even greater precision and stability are required, mechanical grippers available in both manual and pneumatic versions are used for delicate surfaces and materials, vacuum solutions work best, providing a secure grip without damaging the product. For metal components, magnetic grippers are recommended, allowing quick and safe handling of heavy parts. All these options are always selected based on individual analysis and form an integral part of the solution aimed at optimizing processes, increasing safety, and enhancing operator comfort.
What problems do industrial manipulators solve?
Industrial manipulators address key challenges in everyday work:
- Effortless handling of heavy loads — up to 1850 kg, without the need for physical strength.
- Operator safety — eliminating the risk of injuries related to lifting and moving loads.
- Precise adaptation to the application — the ability to integrate with various gripping tools.
- Maximum freedom of movement — mounting systems adjusted to working conditions: column, ceiling, or overhead crane.
- Energy and cost savings — no electrical power required, using only compressed air.
THEMA manipulators – an overview of the models
When selecting the right model, factors such as maximum load capacity, required working range, the type of handled product, and the specific workplace conditions should be considered.
Industrial manipulators from the Perseo and Narciso series allow intuitive, almost effortless handling of lighter elements. For a larger reach and precision over extensive work areas, Slite, moving along rail systems, will be ideal. On the other hand, manipulators with rigid arms, including the Pegasus and Icon series, are perfect for stable, safe handling of loads, even with an offset center of gravity, offering a wide range of load capacities up to 1850 kg.
Perseo / Perseo Pro
Handles loads up to 60 kg / 120 kg.
Narciso
Suitable for loads up to 300 kg.
Slite
Reliable handling of loads up to 180 kg.
Pegasus / Pegasus Pro
Handles loads up to 375 / 625 kg.
Icon / Icon Pro
Ideal for loads up to 1000 kg / 1850 kg.
Each model is available in various mounting configurations and can be adjusted to specific user requirements.
Thanks to a personalized approach and extensive configuration options, we can deliver solutions tailored to the specific needs of any industry. Regardless of production type or operational specifics, our manipulators can be precisely designed and adapted to individual customer requirements.
